Born in 1989 and raised in Northwest, Arkansas. I'm a fan of spicy food, live music and anything regarding the Arkansas Razorbacks. I own a lot of instruments - mostly ones with strings. I enjoy playing live music as much as I can. To fill time between gigs I create musical content for YouTube. My wife Lacey and I live on the outskirts of Fayetteville, AR with our two cats and a few ball pythons.
As a solo artist I compose and perform pieces for classical guitar. I also enjoy writing and recording metal songs. I currently play pedal steel guitar and mandolin with Abbey Pierce and the Sinners as well as with Jeremy Treat. I own my label/publisher (CzBMusic) and am an ASCAP member. My YouTube channel (also CzBMusic) has garnered almost 100,000 views.
I listen to a lot of heavier music now but I grew up on 90's country. Baseball was my passion as a kid and I played trombone through my 11th grade year. I started learning guitar in 2010, initially gravitating towards fingerstyle technique on nylon strings. In 2017 I had my first of two major shoulder surgeries and made a transition to using a pick on electric guitar during the 6 weeks my left arm was in a stabilizer. Since I had no range of motion I was limited to practicing scales across a few frets at a time and that was when I made up my mind that I was going to find a way to get on stage.
When my shoulder healed I joined my first garage metal band and started playing with really talented people who motivated me to get better. Unfortunately, metal is not as popular of a live music option in NWA as it is elsewhere. So in 2021 I made the decision to learn both pedal steel guitar and mandolin to get back to my country music roots and chase that neon rainbow. Because of that decision I have been able to do some really cool things and meet some very cool people.
